Is NexCert Global authorized to provide ISO certification in Qatar?
Yes. NexCert Global is officially authorized and registered by QGoS (Qatar General Organization for Standards) to provide ISO certification services in Qatar. This makes our certificates fully compliant with Qatar's national quality and accreditation framework. In addition, our certifications are issued under IAS (USA) accreditation — an IAF full member — making them recognized in over 100 countries worldwide.
What is QGoS and why does it matter for my ISO certificate?
QGoS (Qatar General Organization for Standards) is Qatar's national standards authority. An ISO certification provider that is registered with QGoS has been formally authorized by the State of Qatar to issue certifications within the country's official quality framework. This means your certificate is recognized by Qatar's own government standards body — not just by an overseas accreditation body. It is the local credential that makes your international accreditation complete.
What is IAS accreditation and how is it different from other accreditations?
IAS (International Accreditation Service) is a leading U.S.-based accreditation body and a full member of the IAF (International Accreditation Forum). IAF membership is the global benchmark for accreditation credibility — certificates from IAF-member-accredited bodies are recognized by governments, buyers, and regulators in 100+ countries. Not all certification bodies hold IAF-member accreditation. NexCert Global does.
What is the difference between accredited and non-accredited ISO certification?
Accredited certification is issued by bodies independently assessed against ISO/IEC 17021 by a recognized national accreditation body that is a full IAF member. Non-accredited certificates have not undergone this oversight and are frequently not accepted in international tenders, government procurement, or by global buyers. NexCert Global certificates are QGoS-authorized AND IAS (USA) accredited — the strongest possible credential combination for businesses in Qatar.
How long does ISO certification take?
Timelines depend on the size and complexity of your organization and the standard chosen. Typically, ISO 9001 for an SME can be achieved in 4-12 weeks. Larger organizations may take 3-6 months. We provide a realistic, personalized timeline after an initial consultation.
Are NexCert Global certificates accepted in Qatar government tenders?
Yes. As a QGoS-authorized certification provider, our ISO certificates are recognized by Qatar government procurement bodies, public sector entities, and regulatory authorities. Combined with IAS (USA) accreditation and IAF membership, our certificates are among the strongest credentials you can hold for both domestic and international tendering.
Do you offer training and certification in Arabic?
Yes. Our training programs and client communications are available in both English and Arabic, depending on the preference and operational language of your organization.
Can you certify small and micro-businesses in Qatar?
Absolutely. We work with organizations of all sizes — from sole traders and startups to large enterprises and government bodies. Our pricing is structured to ensure that even small businesses can access QGoS-authorized, IAS-accredited ISO certification at a transparent and accessible cost.
How is NexCert Global different from other certification companies in Qatar?
Three key differences:
(1) QGoS Authorization — We are officially registered by Qatar's national standards authority to provide ISO certification. Many providers are not.
(2) IAS (USA) Accreditation — Our certificates carry American accreditation and IAF membership, ensuring global recognition in 100+ countries.
(3) End-to-End Partnership — We train, advise, audit, and support. Competitive pricing. English and Arabic service. Long-term partner, not a one-time transaction.
